We’re in the process of selecting a vendor to build us a new inventory and warehouse management system. One of the things we want to include in the tender process is productivity. What sort of questions should we ask the vendors? How can we get proof of the productivity figures they will supply?
Hola, Ian, The Nesma working group FPA in Contract(En g) is currently working on a number of mini guides that are meant to guide customers (and suppliers) with regard to the way software metrics should be used in RFI and RFP questions in order to make sure that the offers are comparable. Maybe you find it interesting to have a look at the mini guides that are already available.

Espero que esto sea útil.Cada proyecto tiene su propia productividad.. Sé que para ciertos clientes la productividad siempre es más baja que las líneas de tendencia de QSM o ISBSG. Hay varias razones para esto, me gusta: complejidad del proyecto/entorno, la presión del tiempo, muchos CRs siendo aprobados, etc.
Si comparas con esas situaciones, será difícil probar la productividad/comparando empresas, por lo que podría elegir fácilmente el equivocado.
QSM NL tiene una declaración en una de las paredes del interior del edificio, se parece a esto: “Si te enfocas en la productividad perderás calidad, si te enfocas en la calidad ganarás en productividad’.

Esta es una declaración muy valiosa.. Pretendemos gestionar tanto en coste como en calidad.. ¿Tiene algunos ejemplos sobre cómo podemos equilibrar la calidad y la productividad?? Las presentaciones que compartió Harold se centran en la productividad, que es util, pero ¿cómo debo incorporar calidad en esto??
