IFPUGOn behalf of Nesma, Adri Timp (chairman of our Counting Practices Committee), is a member of the IFPUG Functional Sizing Standards Comittee (FSSC). The main tasks of the FSSC are:

  • Keeping the IFPUG Counting Practices Manual (CPM) up to date
  • Publish papers on the use of FPA in new environments
  • Publish iTips: short papers on subjects that lead to erroneous counts in practice
  • Publish uTips: short papers on the application of FPA
  • Publish vTips: shot video instructions on functional size metrics

The iTips, uTips and vTips are available from free of charge from the IFPUG website.

This summer Adri has attended the annual FSSC meeting. During the meeting iTip #07 – Derived Data in Classifying an EO was finalised and published.
