Additional functional metrics

The function point communities have developed over 20 variations of function points.
But there are other important topics that the function point community ignores. We need a suite of related metrics that can handle corporate measurement issues:

1. function points for software size
2. hardware function points for engineered products
3. data points for data bases and repository size
4. risk points for hazardous situations
5. value points that combine financial and intangible value topics
