    Hello Luigi,

I would be happy to read your evaluation on this subject: can I get an access to your paper (username/password is needed)? My mail: jp_fayolle@yahoo.es.
And well, you confirm that the current OMG specs are not for maintenance project.

Bumping up an old thread on Automated Function Points. Are there more tools in the market now apart from the CAST Software one? Please guide.

    Hello Vikram,

The last 7 years, I have spent a lot of time in developing a Windows application for automated FPA counting. This tool is based on Natural Language Processing and can read text in English, Dutch and German. So if you have documents like a Functional Design, Requirements, Use Cases etc, this tool can give an estimated FPA count. It can process several documents at the same time. It can also give an estimated count on SAP design documents like Blue Prints etc. The count is based on Nesma 2.2 version.

If you need more info you can send me an email: pwhbellen@hotmail.com
