Call for presentation

If you would like to share the floor with the keynotes and share your experiences, thoughts, research results or other information on the theme: “What has outsourcing ever brought to us?”, we invite you to send an abstract of 150 – 200 words before September 23, 2016 to conference@nesma.org. Keynotes

Bill Curtis Dr. Bill Curtis is an industry luminary who is responsible for influencing CAST’s scientific and strategic direction, as well as helping CAST educate the IT market to the importance of managing and measuring the quality of its software. He is best known for leading development of the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) which has become the global standard for evaluating the capability of software development organizations. Bill has a passion for software analysis and measurement because, after improving development process, it is the next wave of software engineering improvement.
Darja Smite Darja Šmite is an associate professor at the Blekinge Institute of Technology, where she leads research on the effects of offshoring for Swedish software companies. Her other research interests are global software engineering, large-scale agile software development, and software process improvement. She’s also a visiting professor of software engineering at the University of Latvia. Šmite received a PhD in computer science from the University of Latvia. Contact her at darja.smite@bth.se
Rini van Solingen 2015 Rini van Solingen is a part-time full professor of global software engineering at the Delft University of Technology, where he also heads research and education about worldwide distributed software teams. In addition, he’s the corporate technology officer of Prowareness (www.scrum.nl). Van Solingen received a PhD in management science from the Eindhoven University of Technology. He’s a member of IEEE. ALEX VAN DEN BERGH Alex van den Bergh (a.van.den.bergh@quintgroup.com) is Partner at Quint Wellington Redwood and leads Quint’s global Sourcing Advisory Practice. The Sourcing Advisory practice focuses on consulting and implementations of (out-)sourcing changes, offshoring, shared services, integrations and separations. Alex joined Quint Wellington Redwood in 2006, is a IAOP certified outsourcing professional (COP), member of the IAOP and a guest lecturer at universities, speaker on forums and a regular publisher of articles.
